How it works

1. Activate Leyline of Abundance by paying 6, putting four +1/+1 counters on each creature you control due to Loading Zone and Michelangelo.
2. Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it, adding .
3. Leyline of Abundance triggers, adding .
4. Activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping Devoted Druid.
5. Repeat from step 2 three additional times.
6. Repeat from step 1.

This clever loop harnesses the incredible synergy between Devoted Druid and Leyline of Abundance, where tapping the Druid for green mana is doubled by the Leyline's passive mana-boosting presence. Because Loading Zone and Michelangelo, Weirdness to 11 both act as potent replacement effects for counters, any heavy mana investment into Leyline's activated ability scales explosively to grant your creatures an overwhelming number of +1/'+1 counters. This completely counteracts the -1/-1 counters that Devoted Druid must place upon itself to untap, allowing you to endlessly cycle its mana-generating and untapping abilities to fund the entire engine.
