How it works

  1. If Runaway Steam-Kin has three or more +1/+1 counters on it, activate it by removing three +1/+1 counters from it, adding R manaR manaR mana.
  2. Cast Spear Spewer by paying R mana.
  3. Runaway Steam-Kin triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  4. Activate Spear Spewer by tapping it, dealing 1 damage to each player.
  5. Dissipation Field triggers, returning Spear Spewer from the battlefield to your hand.
  6. Repeat.

This loop turns a seemingly harmless little goblin into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting Dissipation Field's protective bounce. Because Spear Spewer deals damage to you when its tap ability is activated, the Field immediately returns it to your hand for just one mana to recast. Meanwhile, Anger rests safely in your graveyard—assuming you control a Mountain—granting the necessary haste so that recast creatures can immediately tap again. Every time you recast Spear Spewer, Runaway Steam-Kin watches a red spell enter the stack to effortlessly refuel its counters, letting you harvest a steady stream of red mana to keep the entire cycle spinning.
