How it works

1. If Runaway Steam-Kin has tree or more +1/+1 counters on it, activate it by removing three +1/+1 counters from it, adding .
2. Cast Squee from your graveyard or from exile by paying 1.
3. Iraxxa and Runaway Steam-Kin trigger.
4. Resolve the Iraxxa trigger, creating a 2/2 Alien Warrior creature token.
5. Resolve the Runaway Steam-Kin trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Activate Thermopod's second ability twice by sacrificing Squee and the Alien Warrior, adding .
7. Repeat.

This fiery loop relies on Squee, the Immortal's unique ability to be repeatedly cast straight from exile or your graveyard for three mana. Every time you cast Squee, Runaway Steam-Kin grows with a new +1/+1 counter while Iraxxa, Empress of Mars triggers its Paradox ability to muster a 2/2 red Alien Warrior token. You then feed both Squee and the newly minted token to Thermopod's sacrifice ability, turning them into the red mana needed to fund the next casting. Steam-Kin's accumulated counters can be cashed in along the way to net a surplus of mana, fueling an endless cycle of sacrifices, storm count, and creature arrivals.
