How it works
If Grim Poppet has any -1/-1 counters on it, activate it by removing a -1/-1 counter from it.
Repeat step 1 as necessary until Grim Poppet has no -1/-1 counters on it.
Activate Lithatog by sacrificing Grim Poppet.
When Grim Poppet dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
Resolve the Lithatog ability.
Repeat.
Resolve all Grim Poppet abilities, putting infinite -1/-1 counters on any number of creatures.
This loop transforms Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn into Isilu, Carrier of Twilight so that its passive persist ability grants recursive life to your nontoken creatures. While Eirdu/Isilu anchors this engine, Grim Poppet uses its activated ability to strip away its own -1/-1 counters or dismantle opposing threats, setting up its eventual sacrifice. That is where Lithatog comes in, sacrificing the creature to pump its own stats and letting persist trigger. By repeating this cycle, Grim Poppet keeps bouncing back from the graveyard with a fresh counter ready to be redistributed, locking down the board with infinite sacrifice and death triggers.
