How it works

Council of the Absolute provides the crucial cost reduction that makes this engine work, naming Sensei's Divining Top so that it costs {2} less to cast. Because the Top naturally costs {1} to cast normally, this reduction completely zeroes out its mana cost, allowing you to tap Sensei's Divining Top to draw a card and put it on top of your library, only to immediately recast it for free and repeat the process endlessly.
