How it works

1. Cast Sensei's Divining Top by paying 0 due to Council of the Absolute.
2. When Sensei's Divining Top enters, Fateful Discovery triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Sensei's Divining Top by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Fateful Discovery trigger, causing you to draw Sensei's Divining Top from your library.
5. Repeat

This clever loop turns a modest artifact into an infinite-velocity engine by exploiting a cost-reduction quirk. With Council of the Absolute naming Sensei's Divining Top as it enters, the artifact's mana cost is completely erased, allowing you to cast it for free. As Sensei's Divining Top hits the battlefield, Fateful Discovery triggers to reward you with a card draw, and by tapping the top in response, you tuck it safely onto the top of your library just in time to draw it right back with that exact same trigger.
