How it works

1. Cast Undercover Operative by paying its mana cost. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
2. Put Undercover Operative into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
3. Undercover Operative's first ability and second ability trigger, along with Rakdos Joins Up's second ability.
4. Resolve Undercover Operative's second trigger and Rakdos Joins Up's trigger, dealing damage to target opponent.
5. Resolve Undercover Operative's first trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms your enchantments into a self-sustaining damage engine, starting when you cast Undercover Operative and use Opalescence to make it enter as a creature copy of Rakdos Joins Up. Because you already control a Rakdos Joins Up, the legend rule immediately puts the copy into your graveyard, triggering its own ability to return itself to the battlefield with two extra +1/+1 counters. Each time this happens, both copies of Rakdos Joins Up see the legendary creature die and trigger their damage abilities, letting you continually recur the copy and loop its death to blast your opponent for infinite damage.
