How it works

1. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
2. Malcolm triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever engine transforms nonland permanents into direct damage by leveraging a creative type-changing setup with Rukarumel, Biologist, who makes all your nontoken creatures into Pirates alongside Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator. With Primal Vigor doubling every token you create, Malcolm generates a surplus of Treasure tokens whenever your "Pirates" deal damage to opponents. You can then feed those Treasures and other unwanted permanents to Magmaw to blast your foes for infinite damage, recycling the mana to fuel the loop continuously.
