How it works

  1. Activate Skirge Familiar by discarding a card, adding B mana.
  2. Toluz triggers, exiling the discarded card.
  3. Repeat from step 1 until you have an empty hand.
  4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Toluz.
  5. Toluz dies, returning all cards exiled with it to your hand.
  6. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Toluz's power.
  7. Cast Corpse Dance with buyback by paying 4B mana, returning Toluz from your graveyard to the battlefield, and returning Corpse Dance to your hand.
  8. Toluz enters the battlefield, causing it to connive.
  9. Repeat.
