How it works

1. Activate Selvala by paying and tapping it, adding at least 2.
2. Cast Corpse Dance with buyback by paying 2 due to Blood Funnel.
3. Blood Funnel triggers, causing you to sacrifice Selvala.
4. Resolve Corpse Dance, returning Selvala from your graveyard to the battlefield, giving it haste, and returning Corpse Dance to your hand.
5. Repeat.
6. If you control another creature with power 5 or greater, this combo nets infinite colored mana.

This loop turns a clever mana quirk into a continuous engine by exploiting Blood Funnel to slash the cost of Corpse Dance down to just two generic mana, which is easily covered by the green mana produced by Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. When Corpse Dance is cast, Blood Funnel forces you to sacrifice Selvala, sending our legendary elf straight to the graveyard so she can immediately be reanimated by the resolving Corpse Dance—thanks to its buyback cost returning the spell right back to your hand. As long as you have another creature boasting a high enough power, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds generates surplus mana on each iteration, letting you repeat this macabre dance indefinitely.
