How it works

1. Activate the Sliver that can be cast using by sacrificing it, adding .
2. The Sliver is put onto the top of your library instead of into your graveyard due to the replacement effect given to it by Pulmonic Sliver.
3. Cast the Sliver from the top of your library by paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recursive recycling, using Basal Sliver as the engine that sacrifices your creatures for black mana while simultaneously feeding them right back into the cycle. Instead of hitting the graveyard, Pulmonic Sliver steps in with a crucial replacement effect that places the sacrificed creature safely back onto the top of your library. From there, Vizier of the Menagerie provides the vital top-deck vision and permission needed to recast that exact same creature directly from the library, leveraging the mana you just generated to keep the loop going indefinitely.
