How it works

1. Activate the Sliver that can be cast using by sacrificing it, adding .
2. The Sliver is put onto the top of your library instead of into your graveyard due to the replacement effect given to it by Pulmonic Sliver.
3. Cast the Sliver from the top of your library by paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the hive-mind into a self-sustaining engine by rewriting the rules of life and death for your swarm. With Pulmonic Sliver granting its signature replacement effect, any Sliver that bites the dust—including the Basal Sliver you just sacrificed for black mana—bypasses the graveyard entirely to sit right on top of your library instead. Meanwhile, Fortune Teller's Talent lets you look ahead, cast spells directly from the top of your deck once you've gotten the ball rolling, and eventually shaves off mana costs so you can continuously replay your sacrificed Sliver for free.
