How it works

1. Activate the Sliver that can be cast using by sacrificing it, adding .
2. The Sliver is put onto the top of your library instead of into your graveyard due to the replacement effect given to it by Pulmonic Sliver.
3. Cast the Sliver from the top of your library by paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms your Sliver horde into a self-sustaining engine by letting them endlessly recycle themselves right off the top of your library. Basal Sliver provides the sacrifice outlet to generate the dark mana you need, while Pulmonic Sliver steps in with a crucial replacement effect to rescue your dying Sliver from the graveyard and place it neatly back onto your library instead. Finally, Benjamin Sisko, Besieged oversees the operation by revealing your library's top card and granting you permission to continuously cast that very same creature back onto the battlefield, generating an endless storm count and a torrent of entering-and-leaving-the-battlefield triggers.
