How it works

  1. Activate Nardole by tapping it, adding at least U manaU manaU mana that can only be spent to cast noncreature spells.
  2. Cast Mystic Speculation with buyback by paying 2U mana.
  3. Chakram Retriever triggers, untapping Nardole.
  4. Resolve Mystic Speculation, causing you to scry 3 and return Mystic Speculation to your hand.
  5. Repeat.
  6. If Nardole has at least four counters on it, this combo nets infinite U mana that can only be spent to cast noncreature spells, and you may target any other creature using Chakram Retriever's trigger.
