How it works

1. Activate Demonmail Hauberk's equip ability by sacrificing the creature it is attached to, targeting another creature you control.
2. When the creature dies, Guardian of the Forgotten triggers, causing you to manifest the top card of your library.
3. Resolve the Demonmail Hauberk trigger, attaching it to the targeted creature.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the continuous sacrifice engine of Demonmail Hauberk to feed its own equip cost, turning any creature it's attached to into fodder for the next target. Because the Hauberk's equip cost requires sacrificing a creature, it immediately sends your currently equipped creature to the graveyard, making it a "modified" creature due to the Equipment itself. This death neatly triggers Guardian of the Forgotten, whose vigilance and static awareness of modified deaths rewards you by constantly manifesting the top card of your library. Together, these two artifacts let you continuously churn through your deck while generating an endless stream of enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death triggers.
