How it works

1. Activate District's ability so that it becomes a creature.
2. Activate it infinite times again to get infinite Construct triggers.

This clever pairing turns a land's discount mechanic into an engine for boundless power. By animating Mobilized District into a creature, its self-contained animation ability stops being a mana ability and becomes a legal trigger for Crackdown Construct. Because the ability's cost is reduced by your legendary permanents and planeswalkers, you can repeatedly activate the District to continuously pump the Construct without ever running out of steam, scaling it up to an infinitely massive threat in a single turn.
