How it works

1. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing another modified creature with power one or greater, adding .
2. When the creature dies, Mazirek and One with the Kami triggers.
3. Resolve the One with the Kami trigger, creating a number of 1/1 Spirit creature tokens equal to the sacrificed creature's power.
4. Resolve the Mazirek trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
5. Repeat.

This loop creates a marvelous self-sustaining engine built around the sacrifice outlet Thermopod, which turns any creature into red mana. Because One with the Kami enchants that creature and recognizes its counters as modifications, every time it dies it generates a swarm of Spirit tokens whose numbers scale with its power. Meanwhile, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest watches the sacrifice and distributes +1/+1 counters across your entire board, permanently increasing the power of your remaining creatures so the next iteration yields even more tokens and mana.
