How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing another creature.
2. Mazirek triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This loop relies on Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest to translate the sacrifice of your own creatures into a massive pump for your entire board. When you sacrifice a creature to Carrion Feeder, Mazirek’s triggered ability ensures that every creature you control receives a +1/+1 counter. This sudden influx of counters immediately triggers Herd Baloth, which rewards you with a fresh 4/4 green Beast token to replace the creature you just lost. You can then feed that very same Beast—or any other creature—back into Carrion Feeder to repeat the cycle indefinitely, generating an arbitrarily large army and infinite triggers.
