How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing another creature.

3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

It all starts when you sacrifice a creature to fuel Carrion Feeder, which immediately alerts Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest to start distributing +1/+1 counters across your entire board.
