How it works

1. Activate Basking Broodscale's adapt ability by paying 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
2. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token.
3. Activate the Eldrazi Spawn by sacrificing it, adding C.
4. Mazirek triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop transforms a modest investment of mana into an escalating cascade of growth, fueled entirely by the symbiotic relationship between Basking Broodscale and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest. When you pay to adapt Basking Broodscale, the resulting +1/+1 counter triggers its native ability to create an Eldrazi Spawn. That token can then be immediately sacrificed for mana, which immediately awakens Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest to place a fresh +1/+1 counter back onto Basking Broodscale. Because this new counter restarts the Broodscale's creation trigger all over again, you end up with an unstoppable engine capable of generating infinite colorless mana and infinitely large creatures.
