How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and The Immortal Sun.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Social Climber triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Social Climber trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Social Climber trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on a brilliant cost-reduction stacking effect: with The Immortal Sun shaving off {1} and Defiler of Faith trading 2 life for a {W} discount, Kor Skyfisher can be cast entirely for free. Every time you cast it, Defiler of Faith responds by generating a 1/1 white Soldier creature token, which immediately fuels Social Climber's *Alliance* ability to continuously pad your life total. Meanwhile, Kor Skyfisher’s own entry trigger forces you to return a permanent to your hand, politely bouncing itself right back to your grip so you can endlessly repeat the entire sequence.
