How it works
- Gain life.
- Heroic Feast triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale
- Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters the battlefield, Social Climber triggers, causing you to gain life.
- Repeat from step 2.
This delightful loop kicks off the moment you gain life, which Heroic Feast uses to place a +1/+1 counter onto Basking Broodscale. That counter triggers Basking Broodscale's ability to spawn a 0/1 colorless Eldrazi Spawn creature token, which immediately enters the battlefield and triggers Social Climber to grant you life. Because you've just gained life, Heroic Feast triggers all over again to restart the cycle, leaving you with an arbitrarily large army, infinite colorless mana from sacrificing the tokens, and a massive creature.
