How it works
- Cast Doppelgang by paying 15, creating five token copies of Kairi and of the four mana-producing permanents.
- Put all Kairi tokens into your graveyard due to the legend rule, triggering each token once.
- Resolve the first Kairi trigger, causing you to mill six cards and return Doppelgang from your graveyard to your hand.
- Resolve all remaining Kairi triggers, choosing either mode as desired.
- Activate seventeen of the mana-producing permanent tokens by tapping them, adding at least 15.
- Repeat.
By channeling a massive investment of mana into Doppelgang, you duplicate Kairi, the Swirling Sky along with your mana-producing permanents, immediately overwhelming the battlefield and triggering the legend rule to send your new Kairi tokens straight to the graveyard. Each of those dying tokens lets you pluck Doppelgang right back out of your graveyard while milling your deck, which turns your mana-producing permanents into a self-sustaining engine. Because you can continually recast Doppelgang, you spiral into an unstoppable loop that nets infinite mana, infinite tokens, and complete mastery over your entire library and graveyard.
