How it works

1. Cast Artificial Evolution by paying , changing all instances of "Bear" on Ayula to "Beast"
2. Cast Herd Baloth by paying 3.
3. When Herd Baloth enters the battlefield, Ayula triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on Herd Baloth.
4. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
5. When the Beast enters the battlefield, Ayula triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on Herd Baloth.
6. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop rewrites the rules of the ecosystem by using Artificial Evolution to alter Ayula, Queen Among Bears, swapping her beloved "Bear" creature type for "Beast." Once this linguistic shift is locked in, dropping Herd Baloth onto the battlefield sets off a brilliant self-sustaining cycle: Ayula sees the new Beast arrive and triggers to drop two +1/+1 counters onto it, which in turn causes Herd Baloth to create a 4/4 green Beast token. That very token arrival immediately satisfies Ayula all over again, infinitely repeating the process to flood the board with massive creatures and endless +1/+1 counters.
