How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Spider-Man triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Distinguished Conjurer triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This charming loop is set into motion the moment you gain life, which prompts Spider-Man, Peter Parker to grant a +1/+1 counter to Herd Baloth. That sudden burst of power makes Herd Baloth trigger its ability to stampede out a 4/4 green Beast creature token, which in turn causes Distinguished Conjurer to welcome the newcomer with a life-gaining trigger.
