How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Herd Baloth triggers, putting a +1+1 counter on itself.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token and an artifact token.
4. When the artifact token enters the battlefield, Arbaaz Mir triggers, dealing 1 damage to each opponent and causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop relies on an engine of constant growth and token generation, turning a single instance of life gain into an explosive chain reaction. Once Sunbond enchants Herd Baloth, any initial lifegain triggers the beast to grow larger with a +1/+1 counter. That counter creation immediately coaxes Herd Baloth to spawn a creature token, which in turn causes Peregrin Took's replacement effect to step in and shower you with an additional Food token alongside it. As those new tokens enter, Arbaaz Mir catches the historic artifact's arrival to deal damage to opponents and hand you fresh life, which loops right back into Sunbond to repeat the entire process indefinitely.
