How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Sunbond triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Auriok Champion triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop begins the moment you trigger any initial lifegain, which allows Sunbond to instantly pump enchanted Herd Baloth with a +1/+1 counter. That counter triggers Herd Baloth's ability to spawn a 4/4 green Beast token, which in turn causes Auriok Champion to trigger upon entering the battlefield and return the favor by giving you 1 life. Because that new lifegain event feeds right back into Sunbond, the entire cycle sustains itself indefinitely to flood the board with endless tokens, counters, and life.
