How it works

1. Cast Plumecreed Mentor by paying 1.
2. When Plumecreed Mentor enters the battlefield, it triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Angel creature token with flying and vigilance due to Divine Visitation..
4. When the Angel enters the battlefield, Plumecreed Mentor triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
5. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop starts the moment Plumecreed Mentor enters the battlefield, using its triggered ability to place a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth, which itself has no flying. That initial counter sparks Herd Baloth's own trigger to make a token, but thanks to Divine Visitation's replacement effect, that token arrives instead as a majestic 4/4 white Angel with flying and vigilance. Because this new Angel also possesses flying, it immediately satisfies Plumecreed Mentor's condition to trigger yet again and place another +1/+1 counter back onto Herd Baloth, endlessly perpetuating the cycle to flood the board with infinitely many Angels, beasts, and counters.
