How it works

1. Put a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
2. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
3. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the Beast, adding .
4. When the Beast dies, Tarrian's Soulcleaver triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
5. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
6. Repeat from step 3.

This looping mechanism turns a simple +1/+1 counter into an endless cycle of creation and sacrifice, fueled by Herd Baloth and its ability to continually spawn 4/4 Beast tokens whenever counters are placed on it. Those tokens are immediately fed to Thermopod, which sacrifices them to generate the red mana needed to keep the engine moving while simultaneously giving the snow creature a way to tap into haste if required. Meanwhile, Tarrian's Soulcleaver quietly watches the graveyard, leveraging each dying token to place a fresh +1/+1 counter back onto Herd Baloth, restarting the entire sequence and generating infinite red mana along with boundless entry, exit, and death triggers.
