How it works

2. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.

5. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
6. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
7. Repeat from step 3.

By leveraging Long Feng, Grand Secretariat, every creature token sacrificed to Phantom Train triggers a +1/+1 counter placement back onto Herd Baloth. In turn, that influx of counters on Herd Baloth immediately fuels the creation of a brand-new Beast token, ready to be fed right back into Phantom Train to sustain the cycle indefinitely.
