How it works
- Cast Urza's Bauble by paying its mana cost.
- When Urza's Bauble enters, Builder's Talent's second ability triggers.
- Holding priority, activate Urza's Bauble by tapping and sacrificing it.
- Resolve the Builder's Talent trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Evolution Witness.
- Evolution Witness triggers, returning Urza's Bauble from your graveyard to your hand.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns the humble Urza's Bauble into an infinite recursion engine by leveraging Builder's Talent as a persistent catalyst. Whenever you cast the Bauble, Builder's Talent's level 2 ability sees that noncreature, nonland permanent enter and places a +1/+1 counter on Evolution Witness. That counter triggers Evolution Witness's static-like triggered ability, which immediately returns the sacrificed Urza's Bauble right back to your hand so you can cast it all over again.
