How it works

This clever loop transforms Norman Osborn into his Green Goblin back face to drastically alter the graveyard economy, turning Squee, the Immortal into a perpetually recurring sacrifice engine. By feeding Squee to Phyrexian Altar, you generate the mana needed to recast him right back out of the graveyard, thanks to the cost-reduction and mayhem granted by Green Goblin. Every single time Squee bites the dust, Golgari Germination triggers to drop a Saproling token onto the battlefield, which can immediately be sacrificed to Phyrexian Altar for even more mana. Because Squee and the tokens keep cycling endlessly between the graveyard and the battlefield, you achieve an uninterrupted loop of sacrifices, deaths, and triggers without ever running out of resources.
