How it works

  1. Cast Time Warp by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  2. Move to your next turn. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, Echocasting Symposium's paradigm ability triggers, causing you to cast a copy of it from exile.
  3. Resolve the copy, creating a token copy of Scrivener
  4. When the Scrivener token enters, it triggers, returning Time Warp from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Repeat.

This loop hinges on setting up a self-sustaining engine of extra turns and recursive value, starting with the initial casting of Time Warp to secure an additional turn. Once you move into that extra turn, Echocasting Symposium’s paradigm ability lets you cast a free copy of the spell from exile during your precombat main phase. That copy targets your creature to make a token via its primary effect, and each time the resulting token enters, Scrivener's triggered ability pulls Time Warp right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. By looping this sequence, you continuously recycle Time Warp to lock down the game with infinite turns.
