How it works

1. Cast Spear Spewer by paying .
2. Spear Spewer enters the battlefield, triggering Obsidian Battle-Axe, attaching it to Spear Spewer and giving it haste.
3. Activate Spear Spewer by tapping it, dealing 1 damage to each player.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Spear Spewer, adding .
5. Koll triggers, returning Spear Spewer from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat until all opponents with a lower life total than your own have lost the game.

This clever loop turns your defenders into a lethal clock by creating a self-sustaining cycle of sacrifice and return. As you cast Spear Spewer, Obsidian Battle-Axe automatically jumps onto it thanks to its warrior-specific entry trigger, bypassing costly equip fees. You then tap Spear Spewer to burn the table before feeding it directly into Phyrexian Altar for manapower. That sacrifice immediately triggers Koll, the Forgemaster—since the creature was equipped at the time of its demise—bouncing Spear Spewer right back to your hand so the whole process can begin anew.
