How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Nether Traitor.
2. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing another creature.
3. When the creature dies, Nether Traitor triggers, causing you to pay to return Nether Traitor from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Kheru Goldkeeper and Insidious Roots triggers, creating a Treasure token, a 1/1 Plant creature token and putting a +1/+1 counter on each Plant you control.
5. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Repeat.

This intricate loop relies on Shilgengar, Sire of Famine to repeatedly sacrifice Nether Traitor and another creature to fuel your engine. Every time Nether Traitor leaves your graveyard, Kheru Goldkeeper and Insidious Roots trigger together to reward you with a steady stream of Treasure tokens, Plant tokens, and permanent +1/+1 counters to grow your board. The black mana generated by sacrificing those Treasures allows you to immediately pay Nether Traitor's revival cost, letting you cycle the entire sequence indefinitely for boundless resources and triggers.
