How it works

1. Activate Havengul Lich by paying 1, allowing you to cast Shambling Ghast card from your graveyard this turn.
2. Cast Shambling Ghast from your graveyard by paying .
3. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Shambling Ghast.
4. When Shambling Ghast dies, it triggers twice, creating two Treasure tokens.
5. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
6. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the graveyard into a revolving door for Shambling Ghast, using Havengul Lich's activated ability to continuously recast the tiny creature for just a single mana. Every time Shambling Ghast hits the bin, Umbral Collar Zealot provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to fuel the engine while smoothing your draws with surveil. The true magic, however, lies in Drivnod, Carnage Dominus, whose static replacement effect doubles the death trigger of Shambling Ghast so that each sacrifice yields two Treasure tokens instead of one. Those pairs of Treasures generate more than enough mana to pay for Havengul Lich's activation and the casting cost, leaving you with an endless surplus of resources and infinite death triggers.
