How it works

1. Activate Havengul Lich by paying 1, targeting Vivi.
2. Cast Vivi by paying 1.
3. Havengul Lich triggers, causing it to gain Vivi's activated abilities until end of turn.
4. Resolve Vivi. Then, activate Thermopod by sacrificing Vivi.
5. Activate Havengul Lich using Vivi's ability by paying 0, adding at least 2.
6. Repeat.

This intricate mana-engine transforms Havengul Lich into a powerhouse by utilizing its ability to borrow skills from the graveyard. Once Thermopod is in play to act as a reliable sacrifice outlet, it sends Vivi Ornitier straight to the graveyard so the Lich can inherit Vivi's unique power-scaling mana generation. By repeatedly casting Vivi from the graveyard and sacrificing it back to Thermopod, you continually filter and net a surplus of red and blue mana to fuel your loop.
