How it works

  1. Activate Myojin by removing an indestructible counter from it, causing you to create two 1/1 Spirit creature tokens for each permanent you control.
  2. Activate Phyrexian Altar eight times by sacrificing eight Spirits, adding 5W manaW manaW mana.
  3. Activate Mondrak by paying 1W manaW mana and sacrificing two Spirits, putting an indestructible counter on it.
  4. Activate Resourceful Defense by paying 4W mana, moving an indestructible counter from Mondrak onto Myojin.
  5. Repeat.
