How it works

1. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
2. Breath of Fury and Aya of Alexandria trigger.
3. Resolve the Aya of Alexandria trigger, creating a 1/1 Assassin creature token.
4. Resolve the Breath of Fury trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to the Assassin token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
5. Repeat each combat phase.

This infinite combat engine transforms the board by leveraging Mycosynth Lattice, which turns every permanent in play into an artifact and therefore makes every single creature you control historic. With that global transformation in place, Aya of Alexandria rewards your attackers by spawning an Assassin token whenever any historic creature connects with an opponent. Meanwhile, Fires of Yavimaya ensures those freshly created tokens can immediately join the attack by granting your entire team haste. When you attach Breath of Fury to your attacking creature and deal combat damage, its trigger lets you sacrifice that creature to move the Aura onto the new Assassin token, untapping everything and granting an endless chain of additional combat phases.
