How it works

1. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
2. Breath of Fury and Aya of Alexandria trigger.
3. Resolve the Aya of Alexandria trigger, creating a 1/1 Assassin creature token.
4. Resolve the Breath of Fury trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to the Assassin token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
5. Repeat each combat phase.

This clever loop transforms a standard combat trigger into an endless series of attacks by weaponizing the rules of permanent types. Mycosynth Lattice does the heavy lifting behind the scenes by turning every permanent on the battlefield into an artifact, instantly making every creature you control "historic" under Aya of Alexandria's watchful eye. Meanwhile, Tannuk, Steadfast Second ensures your newly minted tokens can charge straight into battle with haste. When your chosen attacker connects, Breath of Fury triggers to sacrifice it, hops onto the freshly created Assassin token, untaps your board, and grants an extra combat phase—allowing you to repeat the carnage indefinitely.
