How it works
Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached and Ancient Gold Dragon, triggering Breath of Fury and Ancient Gold Dragon.
Resolve the Ancient Gold Dragon trigger, creating at least one creature token.
Resolve the Breath of Fury trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to a creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
Repeat each combat phase.
This loop hinges on a clever shell game of sacrifice, combat, and recursion, perfectly tailored to overwhelm opponents across an infinite number of extra combat phases. Ancient Gold Dragon kicks off the initial frenzy by rolling a d20 to flood the board with a swarm of flying Faerie Dragon tokens whenever it connects. Garna, the Bloodflame is the glue that keeps the engine running, giving your newly minted tokens haste so they can immediately join the fray while her entry trigger patiently waits to return any sacrificed creatures right back to your hand if needed. Finally, Breath of Fury is enchanted onto a designated attacker; when it deals combat damage, you sacrifice that creature to leap the Aura onto one of those fresh Faerie Dragons, untapping your entire team and granting you another combat step to repeat the carnage indefinitely.
