How it works

  1. Declare the creature with Breath of Fury attached and Maestros Diabolist as attackers.
  2. Maestros Diabolist triggers, creating a creature token.
  3. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
  4. Breath of Fury triggers, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to the creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
  5. If the sacrificed creature was a Devil token, it triggers when it dies, dealing 1 damage to any target.
  6. Repeat each combat phase.

This looping combat engine centers on Breath of Fury and an endless parade of attackers to keep chaining extra combat phases. While Maestros Diabolist reliably provides a fresh sacrifice target by spawning a Devil token every time it attacks, Garna, the Bloodflame keeps the loop flowing by granting your board haste and ensuring any fallen creatures can be recast. As the enchanted creature connects and triggers Breath of Fury, you sacrifice it—often that very same Devil token—which conveniently deals 1 damage upon death while transferring the Aura to the newly created token to untap your entire team for the next assault.
