How it works

1. Declare the creature with Breath of Fury attached and Pugnacious Pugilist as attackers.
2. Pugnacious Pugilist triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
4. Breath of Fury triggers, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to the creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
5. If the sacrificed creature was a Devil token, it triggers when it dies, dealing 1 damage to any target.
6. Repeat each combat phase.

This brilliant loop turns an extra combat enchantment into a relentless engine of continuous attacks and triggers. With Lavaleaper ensuring all your creatures have haste, you can freely redeploy and redeclare your board in every newly generated combat phase. You attach Breath of Fury to one of your attackers, while Pugnacious Pugilist marches alongside it to continuously churn out fresh creature tokens whenever it attacks. The moment your enchanted creature connects for combat damage, Breath of Fury triggers to sacrifice that creature and reattach itself to the newly minted token, untapping your entire team and granting you another combat step to repeat the slaughter indefinitely.
