How it works

1. Cast Chain of Smog by paying 1, targeting yourself.
2. Veyran triggers twice, giving itself +2/+2 until end of turn.
3. Resolve Chain of Smog, causing you to discard two cards and copy Chain of Smog, targeting yourself.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By targeting yourself with Chain of Smog, you willingly trigger its clever built-in copy clause, allowing you to feed the spell right back into itself for as many iterations as you desire.
