How it works

  1. Cast Journey On either from your hand or from the command zone by paying G mana and commander tax, if applicable, creating at least three Map artifact tokens and exiling Journey On with the ability to cast it from exile.
  2. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing three Maps, adding six C.
  3. Cast Kellan from exile by paying 2.
  4. Activate Kogla by paying 2, returning Kellan from the battlefield to your hand.
  5. Repeat.
  6. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Maps, and you may use the Maps to put infinite +1/+1 counters on creatures you control.

This brilliant loop transforms simple exploration into an unstoppable engine by leveraging Mycosynth Lattice's passive ability to turn every permanent on the battlefield into an artifact. With the entire board treated as artifacts, your generated tokens and even your creatures become fuel for Krark-Clan Ironworks, which readily sacrifices them to yield a surplus of colorless mana. You can then recast Kellan, Daring Traveler // Journey On from exile and use Kogla, the Titan Ape's activated ability to bounce Kellan back to your hand for a modest investment of mana. Because Kogla's bounce ability targets a Human, Kellan fits the bill perfectly, allowing you to continually repeat this cycle for infinite mana, triggers, and Map tokens.
