How it works

1. Activate Red Death by tapping it, adding , goading a creature an opponent controls and causing that opponent to draw a card.
2. Activate Freed from the Real's second ability by paying 1, untapping Red Death.
3. Repeat.

By turning every permanent on the battlefield into an artifact, Mycosynth Lattice provides the color-fixing needed so that Freed from the Real can enchant Red Death, Shipwrecker despite their differing color identities. This allows you to repeatedly activate Red Death's tapping ability to generate red mana, which is then filtered into the blue mana required by Freed from the Real to untap it. Through this continuous loop, you can infinitely goad your opponents' creatures while forcing them to draw their entire libraries.
