How it works

1. Cast Mycosynth Lattice by paying 6.
2. When Mycosynth Lattice enters the battlefield, Simulacrum Synthesizer's second ability triggers, creating a 0/0 Contruct artifact creature token that enters the battlefield as a copy of Essence of the Wild.
3. When the Essence of the Wild token enters the battlefield as an artifact due to Mycosynth Lattice, Simulacrum Synthesizer's second ability triggers, creating a 0/0 Contruct artifact creature token that enters the battlefield as a copy of Essence of the Wild.
4. Repeat step 3.

This clever loop relies on Mycosynth Lattice to turn every permanent into an artifact, which immediately transforms the battlefield into a trigger-happy playground for Simulacrum Synthesizer. When you cast and resolve Mycosynth Lattice, the Simulacrum Synthesizer responds by spinning up a 0/0 Construct artifact creature token—which then gets swept up by Essence of the Wild, forcing it to enter instead as a copy of the Essence itself. Because that new clone is *also* an artifact thanks to Mycosynth Lattice, it triggers the Simulacrum Synthesizer all over again, spawning a fresh token that immediately copies Essence of the Wild to perpetuate the cycle. Since this mandatory replication forms an unbreakable loop of creature and artifact entries, the game has no legal way to proceed and inevitably results in a draw.
