How it works
Activate up to five lands by tapping them, adding at least 2.
Cast Displace by paying 2, blinking Izzet Chronarch and Peregrine Drake
When Izzet Chronarch and Peregrine Drake enter the battlefield, their abilities trigger.
Resolve the Izzet Chronarch trigger, returning Displace from your graveyard to your hand.
Resolve the Peregrine Drake trigger, untapping up to five lands.
Repeat.
This clever loop transforms a simple blink spell into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting the enters-the-battlefield triggers of two very specific allies. Whenever you cast Displace to exile both Izzet Chronarch and Peregrine Drake, the Drake's arrival untaps your lands to pay for the next iteration, while the Chronarch conveniently scoops the spell right back out of your graveyard. Because Peregrine Drake generates more mana than Displace costs and Izzet Chronarch constantly recycles it, your lands are left permanently untapped with mana to spare, letting you repeat the cycle indefinitely for infinite enters-the-battlefield and storm triggers.
