How it works
- Activate Krark-Clan Grunt by sacrificing another creature you control
- When the creature dies, Pitiless Plunderer and Korvold's second ability trigger.
- Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
- Holding priority, activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
- Resolve the Korvold trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and draw a card.
- Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
- Resolve the Krark-Clan Grunt ability.
- Repeat.
This loop is a masterclass in recursive sacrifice, turning Krark-Clan Grunt into an engine that feeds on its own allies. By sacrificing a creature to the Grunt, you trigger Pitiless Plunderer to spawn a Treasure and Korvold, Fae-Cursed King to draw a card while growing larger with a +1/+1 counter. That sudden growth awakens Animation Module, allowing you to use the mana from your sacrificed Treasure to instantly forge a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token to take the place of the fallen.
