How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing another creature.
2. Korvold's second ability and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
3. Resolve the Korvold trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and causing you to draw a card.
4. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
5. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to the sacrificed creature's power.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding one mana of any color.
7. Korvold's second ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and causing you to draw a card.
8. Activate Zombie Infestation by discarding two cards, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
9. Repeat.

This engine relies on a brilliant cycle of sacrifice and resource generation, anchored by the static and triggered abilities of your permanents. You use Altar of Dementia to sacrifice a creature, which simultaneously fuels Pitiless Plunderer to yield a Treasure token and triggers Korvold, Fae-Cursed King to draw you cards while growing larger with +1/+1 counters. Cashing in that Treasure for mana triggers Korvold yet again, supplying the fuel you need to activate Zombie Infestation, discard cards to create a fresh Zombie token, and feed the loop all over again.
